Nass Hijazi

Chief Executive Officer

Nass’s passion to improve the lived experience for older Australians was the defining factor in founding BESTMED. As Managing Director and CEO , Nass is responsible for developing BESTMED’s strategic vision. With over 25 years of direct experience in the management of major projects, specialising in medication management solutions in the healthcare industry, Nass has overseen BESTMED’s substantial growth now servicing over 350 aged care homes. He enjoys creating an environment where the BESTMED professionals feel motivated and able to achieve outstanding results for aged care providers, prescribers and pharmacists – whilst developing his team to have a well-rounded set of technical, service delivery and client management skills. Director of Sales

Amir leads BESTMED’s Sales and Marketing Operations. In his previous role with Samsung Electronics, Amir served as the National BDM for Healthcare. Amir was responsible for the company’s rapid expansion across mobility in healthcare whilst improving cost efficiencies and resource optimisations for his clients. Amir has a 20+ year history in IT sales related roles and holds a Bachelor (Hons) Degree in Industrial Design which he completed at UWS Nepean in 2000. Amir has a real passion for helping people especially Australia’s most vulnerable and marginalised.  Amir works closely with Aged Care providers to deliver world class service and support across their medication management journey. Sam Hijazi

Head of Business Services / Pharmacist

Sam is an expert in Pharmaceuticals specifically for the Residential Aged Care Sector. With over 15 years experience as a pharmacy owner, operating multiple successful businesses, he provides a specialised customised aged care service. Working closely alongside Aged Care clinicians and leaders, Sam ensures positive outcomes are achieved for consumers and their medication management. Sam is driven by the impact that the BESTMED system has on improving the quality of care for consumers. Sadie Burling

National Head of Aged Care

As National Head of Aged Care, Sadie brings a wealth of expertise to the management, operational and clinical aspects of BESTMED. She is instrumental in providing thought leadership around medication management and is the key interface with Aged Care providers, Doctors and Pharmacy. Sadie’s strategic, operational and clinical skill set, combined with the deep knowledge of the Aged Care legislation, will assist the sector tackle the most important issues prevalent in medication management. Kirstie Galloway Smith

Client Services Manager

As Client Services Manager, Kirstie is responsible for implementing BESTMED into pharmacies and aged care homes, as well as overseeing the support team. Kirstie has over ten years of delivering successful outcomes in projects within the healthcare industry. She joined the BESTMED team in 2018 and has implemented the BESTMED system into over 330 aged care homes and over 110 pharmacies. Kirstie is driven by achieving successful implementations for our customer’s companies and ensuring BESTMED enables our new customers to improve their high level of resident care.
